Repeat after me folks: Victor asked Yuuri for a photo/if he was a fan before the banquet
This
is the face of someone who just realized they may have fucked up
And this
is the face of someone realizing they definitely fucked up
Look at Victor’s face in that second one: he realizes that he had zero idea the previous night that Yuuri had been a participating skater. Not to mention, this is the part of the episode where they say that the banquet happens after the GPF is over.
Which makes the fact that that night happened all the more poignant: after this night, he had to have remembered Yuuri when the infamous video went viral. It makes us question the “hehehe I’m so forgetful” excuse Victor gives. He knew exactly what he was doing when he came to Hasetsu.
This whole episode changes everything. And it makes me wonder how in the world are we gonna predict what MAPPA and Kubo-sensei have in store for us next.
Donald Trump threatening jail or to revoke citizenship of people who burn the flag shows just how little he knows about the constitution and more importantly how little he cares about basic human rights.
Think whatever you want about burning the flag and people who do, but the fact is it’s protected speech and we can’t allow that to change.
That is not protected speech!! That should be punished by imprisonment!!! Its direspect of this nation you idiot!! Many men and women died for that flag and what it stands for and for some dumb motherfucker to stand there and stomp on it or burn it they need to lose citizenship of this country! I support Donald Trump on his mission of protecting the flag and what it stands for! If you dont love the flag you dont love this country and you should get the hell out!!!!!!! So go fuck yourself
It’s actually constitutionally protected speech under the first amendment, as the Supreme Court and various state courts have said time and time again when people like you get all worked up about it. I’m all for respecting American ideals, but people like you really confuse me.
America was founded by people who told almost a thousand years of political and religious tradition to fuck off. They told their fellow citizens to fuck off. They told their flag to fuck off.
What’s more important, the principles this country was founded on, the actual ideals we try to uphold, or the symbolism we’ve chosen to convey those ideals?
America was founded so people could live in a country where they are free to burn the flag, tell people who blindly support the flag they’re stupid and wrong, and most importantly, to provide safe haven for people who choose to display those controversial opinions.
I’m not saying you have to like it, but if you’re going to claim to be a good American, you better fucking stand up for other people’s rights as dictated by our constitution.
That’s my flag too, it’s my country too, and in my country WE HAVE THE FREEDOM to burn OUR flag WHENEVER THE FUCK WE WANT.
