Hey how much longer do you think it is before trump bans any sort of online free speech that is derogatory to him by citing the “clear and present danger” free speech restrictions of world war one, by saying that everyone who slightly criticizes him online is in cahoots with ISIS or something. anyone wanna place bets i’m saying a year in
can’t wait for the day i’m tried in the court of law for reblogging/posting anti-trump sentiments and the prosecutors are forced to wade through this garbage pile of a blog and have to see my drawing of garfield gently lapping at hanzo’s nipple and then use it as evidence that i am a degenerate
South Asian people using their hand to eat rice is not something abnormal or gross.. It’s our tradition and it’s just as normal as East Asians using chopsticks.
Also if you think the hand is gross or not clean enough for us to pick our food but you think it’s clean enough for you to hold your pizza, burger then just letting you know you are fuckin hypocrite lol
lowkey don’t like how ppl are tagging this as unsanitary
I eat curry and rice with my hands and let me tell you…it’s a sacred technique
Americans eat food with our fingers all the fucking time. It’s ridiculous to call it unsanitary… unless your hands are dirty.
Guys it’s not rocket science
You just eat the food With your hand?
Are your hands clean? Then you’re fine.
it’s highkey racist tagging this as unsanitary.
everyone who tagged this with #unsanitary is a fuckin racist and is no longer ever allowed to eat anything with their bare hands ever again
A classic case of “I don’t care about your rights but once they wronged me, it’s over”
Was I supposed to feel sorry for her?
I just saw her tonight being interviewed on tv saying her and many other people she knows have buyers remorse and were infuriated when Trump nominated Mnuchin. She added “instead of draining the swamp, he’s filled it with alligators” and I’m just like
Vote 👏🏼 in 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 2018 👏🏼 Midterm 👏🏼 Elections 👏🏼
SERIOUSLY
If you vote in Democrats, they’ll be able to block Trump’s policies
It’s not just that they’ll be able to block Drumpf’s policies for the (hopefully only) remaining two years: the
entire House of Representatives is up for re-election in 2018. Whoever
wins the House in 2018 will still control it in 2020, when we have our
next census. This means we voting districts will get to be redrawn and if Republicans retain control of the House in
2020, they will make gerrymandering even worse than it is now, which
already favors them.
But the odds are severelyin favor of Republicansfor 2018. The election is ridiculously lopsided:
23 Democrat seats and both (there are only 2) Independent seats (who
Caucus with Dems) will be up for the taking compared to only 8
Republican seats.
Not to mention midterm election turnout is always far less than POTUS elections and Republicans consistently turn out for midterms while non-Republicans fail to show up worse than they normally do.
It gets worse. This is the Senate race in 2018:
Arizona - Currently Republican
California - Currently Democrat
Connecticut

Delaware

Florida

Hawaii

Indiana

All of the states in bold were awarded to Drumpf, 11 of which are currently held by Democrats. Republicans hold a 52 seat majority right now. If they can maintain the 8 seats they have to defend, they only need 8 Democrat and/or Independent seats to have a 60 seat supermajority and the power to pass basically anything they want under Trump for two years.
If you think it’s catastrophic now (and it is), imagine Drumpf and the Republicans with a 60 seat supermajority for two years plus a Republican House with the power to redistrict in 2020.
And that is why organizing now is critical. Getting people to run against every GOP House Member and tying every action by Trump to them. Make the 2018 elections ALL ABOUT TRUMP. This is also about taking back Governor’s Mansions.
It is NOT impossible, but it requires effort. 2018 elections efforts SHOULD ALREADY BE UNDERWAY!
Funny is fact that making twin like with “heterosexuals only” whould be considered homophobic.
fun fact is that this bench stands just outside a museum in germany displaying 150 years of gay oppression, marked significantly by our murder and systematic exclusion from society
every other bench is a ‘heterosexuals only’ bench
start crying oppression when you’re actually oppressed instead of crying because it’s not about you
[picture of a “colored only” water fountain in america in the 1960s] “OH BUT IF THERE WAS A WHITE ONLY ONE THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED RACIST???? REALLY MAKES YOU THINK HUH
People talk about politics as if it’s this isolated, abstract concept that only matters at election time. Somebody’s politics is their world view. It’s whether they think certain human beings deserve rights. It’s how they think the world should be. And if somebody thinks that the world should be colder, meaner, less accepting and downright hostile to people that are different to them, then sure as fuck is the friendship over.
“you’re an art model does that mean you’re NAKED?” “yeah” “whoa….those lucky artists ;)”
…buddy.
idk who started the idea that life drawing classes have anything sexy going on like. there’s at least ten people in the room and we’re all tired and covered in charcoal.
the dude in front who’s staring at my boobs has been trying to get the shading right for 10 minutes. he’s almost out of paint. he is crying.
The ice burg being frozen solid because there are NEVER ENOUGH SPACE HEATERS.
I was an artist’s model in uni since it paid better than any other student work position. Did a life drawing class one semester, despite it being an unheated old building in the winter evenings, because the instructor was a decent fellow who always had extra space heaters. So there I am one evening, exhausted from my team’s afternoon practice, but I’m in a comfortable position on a padded stool, ready to hold the position for like fifteen minutes. Space heaters all around me, spotlights on me to get shadows in interesting places.
Beyond the red glow of the heaters and the hot-white of the spotlights, the massive drafty room is dark and quiet, broken only by the instructor’s whispers and the scratch of charcoal on paper. Me, I’m just dozing, ‘cause my ancient dorm was heated with creaky old steampipes that never really got warm, and with the new extra-powered space heater alongside the others, that night was the warmest I’d been in a month. I dozed, basking in the glorious warmth.
And then I fell asleep.
And then I fell off the stool.
I woke up rather abruptly on the cold wooden platform, and looked up to see an entire ring of terrified and worried faces around me. Everyone had their hands up, ready to help me up, except no one had touched me. Naked chick laid out face-down on the floor, and all the men and women were suddenly acutely aware they couldn’t just grab a half-asleep dazed naked chick.
Fortunately someone had the bright idea to tear the sheet down from the backdrop, lay it over me as a wrap, and then everyone was quick to help me up.
After that, the instructor and students got used to taking turns talking to me, just to make sure I wasn’t dozing off. Which was weird, at first, because I’d done two semesters just being a silent prop, and now I was interacting. It gave the class a vibe completely unlike any other I’d modeled for, and it ended up one of my favorite modeling experiences.
postscript: months later, walking on campus with someone who’d eventually become my spouse, we passed some guys on the main path. One of them stopped, peered at me, and then said hello, excitedly, saying, “sorry, I didn’t recognize you, I’ve never seen you with your clothes on!”
